Jing Cheng Face Renewal Miracle Essence 【京城之霜】濃縮酵母青春精華露

Today’s Friyay is a product that I’ve grown to adore over the months that I have used it! Drumroll…..it’s the Naruko Jing Cheng Face Renewal Miracle Essence!

For those of you who have been with me awhile, you know that my HG is the IOPE Bioessence. I LOVE that stuff and always have a bottle on hand, even when I’m testing out other essences. So for another essence to leave me starry eyed means it really impressed me.

What is it:

This is a first step essence. It contains 94.9% of yeast extracts from organic fermented rice produced in Nantou, Taiwan, famous for their shaoxing rice wine. It is also formulated with 60 types of herbal extracts which is supposed to help with rejuvenating. Because it is a fermented product and made with living ingredients, it also contains amino acids, vitamins and minerals that all help with anti-aging, and increase brightening and softening of your skin.

Benefits:

Prevents skin aging, dullness and increases skin hydration level. Improves skin radiance and firmness.

How to use:

Pour a 4-6 drops amount of essence on the palm and apply it evenly on the face. Avoid eye areas.

Review:

Ever since I discovered essences, its like a new world opened up for me! I love this liquidy, light first step that hydrates and nourishes the skin and my skin loved it and couldn’t get enough! So I was super curious to try the Naruko Miracle Essence, @fiddysnails loves it (she my hero!) and @carolynslavendergarden also liked it (and I’d been following her blog for a while). My first impression was that it was just ok. I liked that it was very similar to the IOPE Bioessence because it has almost no scent, but it’s less viscous than the IOPE. For this essence, just a few drops patted into the face is really the best way to use it. This meant that a 150 ml bottle actually lasted me a while. Almost 5 months? Towards the end of the bottle, the essence had a slight scent almost like sake but it wasn’t unpleasant. Interestingly, my friend @belindajonelle who tested it had a different experience and found that it had a pretty strong fermented scent.
